Abi’s Charleston Senior Portraits

Summers are meant to be spent in Charleston, wouldn’t you agree? I can’t get enough of this slice of heaven in the South, if you couldn’t already tell. That’s why when Abi asked if I could shoot her Charleston senior portraits my answer was obviously “YES!”

Charleston is about a 4 hour drive from where I live in Asheville, but Abi and her mom outdid me by coming all the way from northern Ohio. What a treat it was to meet her and her mom! Abi was such a doll and wore the cutest dresses. I love she chose two different lengths, maxi and mini. Both styles looked amazing on her! Can you even with her pink cap and gown? That’s one benefit to being homeschooled – picking your own custom cap and gown!

I love to ask my seniors a few of their favorite things and learn what makes them special, so let’s learn a little more about Abi! When asked her favorite color, she answered all shades of green. If she had to choose her favorite candy, it would be gummy bears. Her most listened to music genres are pop and folk (Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, The Lumineers). Reading, paddleboarding, exercising, sewing, and cooking are some of her most loved hobbies. Lastly, one of my favorite things to ask my seniors is, “what is your favorite feature about yourself?” because I love hyping up my senior girls! She said her eyes and hair and I agree, they’re gorgeous!
