Laurel Ridge Country Club | Rachel & Jonathan

I’m so excited to share Rachel and Jonathan’s wedding at Laurel Ridge Country Club with you. Nestled in the mountains in Waynesville, North Carolina (about 30 minutes west of Asheville), is this beautiful venue that offers stunning mountain views. There are indoor and outdoor spaces, which allow for a variety of options when planning your wedding. Another bonus with this venue is they have in-house catering and an event director on-site, making this a great venue option in western NC.

Rachel and Jonathan’s Love Story

Rachel and Jonathan connected on eHarmony…twice! The first time, Jonathan messaged Rachel in 2018 with no response from Rachel (whoops!). Then in 2020, they were matched on eHarmony again. However, this time Rachel responded to Jonathan’s message and that’s how their love story began. A few years later, Jonathan was ready to propose. They took a trip to Bryson City, NC for an amazing fall birthday weekend for Rachel. After a drive along the Great Smokey Mountain Parkway, they stopped to overlook Lake Fontana, where Jonathan popped the question!

Together they enjoy trying different ethnic restaurants, exploring different coffee shops, walking on the greenway, taking trips to the NC mountains, and hiking. Their love for the mountains lead them to plan a mountain wedding and I am so grateful they choose Tracy Waldrop Photography to capture their special day!
