Asheville Bridal Session with Abigail

I may be biased, but every season here in the Blue Ridge mountains is delightful in its own way. Winter brings with it a certain serene and sleepy beauty. While the spring and fall seasons are bursting with color and milder temperatures. Then you have the summer months, which are actually quite enjoyable due to the higher altitude. Consequently, this means the temperatures are more favorable than in the piedmont area. I love summer – there is so much fun to be found in the mountains in the summertime. There is also so much lush vegetation and foliage bursting with life, making it a great time for photo sessions! Today’s post is all about a summer session I had with a beautiful bride. I cannot wait to share Abigail’s gorgeous Asheville bridal session with you!

A Storybook Setting Fit for a Bride

I was really intrigued when Abigail told me she wanted to have her session at a private estate in North Asheville. Although I have my favorite spots for photo shoots around town, I am always down for a change of scenery! The rustic and regal home on the property was straight out of a storybook. I loved the stone and wood details, every inch was absolutely stunning! Additionally, the home was surrounded by lavish landscaping and trees – it really was magical! We got some shots inside the home, too, and believe me, the inside was just as gorgeous!

Abigail looked flawless from head to toe. I was swooning over the lace detail on her gown, including the romantic cap sleeves! Her bouquet was shabby chic and feminine and included some family photos which I thought was an endearing sentimental touch. Her beauty team consisted of hair stylist, Cassidy Emery, and makeup artist, Caroleen Richards. Every detail of our session together was so fun and Abigail looked like a princess!
