Asheville Elopement for Catie & Glenn

I’m paraphrasing here, but I’m sure you’ve heard the phrase, “Sometimes the best things come in small packages”. Things don’t always need to be grand and elaborate to make an impression, wouldn’t you agree? For Catie and Glenn’s Asheville elopement, their small wedding proved the above phrase to be true! These two knew two things for certain: they loved each other more than anything and eloping sounded like a dream come true.

By today’s standards, eloping doesn’t always mean the classic connotation of just you, your fiance, and an officiant or judge present when you say, “I do” (although, for many that sounds perfect!). Alternatively, it can also be considered an intimate or micro wedding – essentially this is a term for weddings of around 25 guests or less. For Catie and Glenn, a smaller-scale wedding was exactly what they had in mind. Their venue the Wright Inn and Carriage House was the perfect setting for this intimate southern wedding in the high country!

On a gorgeous October afternoon, these two made a lifelong commitment to one another in front of 28 of their closest family and friends. Their precious dog, Willow, was also a guest of honor. Their wedding day was humble, yet full of significant moments. A cozy ceremony on the porch followed by cake and champagne made for an unforgettable Asheville elopement for this couple.
