Spring Wedding at Camp Daniel Boone | Madison & Tristan

Madison and Tristan are married!! So, I am so excited to share their beautiful spring wedding at Camp Daniel Boone on the blog with you all today!!

Although the weather was not ideal for an outdoor wedding, this couple made the most of it and still had a beautiful wedding day!! There were really big storms that blew through the mountains on their wedding day. So as a result, their ceremony was moved inside the reception hall at Camp Daniel Boone in front of a beautiful stone fireplace. Everyone was able to stay nice and cozy inside and have an amazing time!

One of my favorite bridal details from the day was a part of Madison’s bouquet! Madison had a locket that contained a piece of her grandmother’s wedding dress. The pendant she wore was her other grandmothers. I always love getting to photograph these personal touches on wedding days!

My favorite moment overall from their wedding day was definitely their first look! They were both so excited to see one another and it was so sweet to witness.

Madison chose to do a first look before the ceremony with her groom, both sets of grandparents, Tristan’s grandma, and her dad! I love when my couples choose to do a first look before their ceremony! It let’s them have a private moment together, plus it helps relieve so much stress from the wedding day.

In all honesty, one of my favorite moments from every wedding day is at the end of the ceremony when the bride and groom are announced husband and wife! This is such a rewarding and beautiful part of my job. Moments like these give me so much joy to capture and remind me why I LOVE my job!!
