Fairytale Engagement at the Biltmore Estate

Spring season has come to a close and we are now in full swing with summer sessions and weddings! I’m currently catching up on editing and posting spring galleries and today I’m so excited to share a recent session from this past spring with you. Tulips may no longer be in bloom, but I am still not over Katie and Colt’s fairytale engagement session at the Biltmore Estate.

When couples find me from out of state and trust me to photograph their special moments, it warms my heart. These two traveled from Florida to witness the beautiful tulip blooms at the Estate gardens. I believe the splendor of the gardens exceeded their expectations! Upon meeting this sweet couple, we became fast friends, they are literally the sweetest pair. Katie had Colt had three different wardrobe changes and I loved them all. They were the best subjects and every image was stunning. They truly had a fairytale engagement session!

I can’t close out this blog post without sharing how Colt proposed to Katie because it’s amazing! Colt is a commercial pilot, so as you can imagine that comes with some pretty cool perks. Colt planned a proposal on an airplane 45,000 feet in the air. As Katie put it, “they reached new heights”! Isn’t that incredible? That’s definitely a story that will get passed down to generations.
