There are a lot of amazing perks about my job, but being a part of proposals is incredibly special. I love being a part of these special moments – it is so exciting! Will contacted me via email to be a part of his Biltmore proposal. Of course, I jumped at the chance to be a part of something so sentimental. He and Corrine met through mutual friends and went on a blind date and never stopped dating since then. They are planning an intimate wedding in Tulum, Mexico in March with some close friends and family.
A Biltmore Proposal in the Summer Sun
Before the proposal, Corinne was helping take a photo for another couple. I’m sure Will’s heart was racing as he was preparing for the big moment. I was on the balcony acting like I was there taking photos of the Biltmore House. Hopefully, it looked like I had nothing to do with what was about to happen. When he was ready, Will walked Corinne over to the center of the balcony and got down on one knee. She turned towards him and was in shock! He grabbed her hand, spoke from the heart, and asked her to spend forever by his side as his wife. I can’t tell y’all how hard it is to capture these moments and not get tears on my camera – it was SO sweet! She enthusiastically said “YES!”
After taking some time to let the excitement sink in, Corinne kept looking at the ring and saying, “it’s so pretty!” Will, you did a fantastic job designing this gorgeous ring! Next, we headed all over the property to take some incredible photos that will forever encapsulate the joy they felt on this day. We explored the terrace next to the house with incredible mountain views. In addition, we wandered through the garden to capture all of the colorful foliage and flowers.
I had such a wonderful time with this couple during their Biltmore proposal, and I wish them all the best during their wedding planning and beyond. Would you like me to capture your proposal? I’d love to chat! Fill out an inquiry form on my website and we’ll hash out all of the details.
