Hannah and Lane are the sweetest couple and I am so thrilled to be their photographer! I met up with them at Honeysuckle Hill for their engagement photos and it was perfect! We had such beautiful weather and the sun stayed out for us the whole time.

I love this venue for sessions and weddings because there is so much variety around the fields, pond, and in the barn. It is beautiful for portraits any time of year!

Hannah and Lane had two outfits for their engagement photos. Their first outfit was a white dress for Hannah, and Lane wore a button down and jeans. For their second outfit they both wore blue. Hannah wore a blue floral dress and Lane wore a blue button down with slacks. This was just dressed up enough to look fancy for their Honeysuckle Hill engagement photos! I love when couples have a dressy casual outfit and a dressed up option! Having two outfits gives you the chance to get more variety in your full gallery!

“He was in contact with my best friend planning the whole thing! She had asked me to go get my nails done on Saturday before he proposed because her mom has been super strict about her going to nail salons due to COVID. She was finally able to go and then after she said that Sunday was supposed to be beautiful and she wanted us to go to lake Junaluska just to walk around and take pictures!

When we got there, Lane had given her a letter I had to read and it said that he’s there but not to look for him. I have to come find him and then he was talking about how excited he is for our future. I got out of the car and walked and found him standing at the chapel next to the water and then he popped the question!”

Hannah and Lane are getting married this Fall on October 15th at the Ridgeview Venue in Asheville! I am so excited for their wedding day! Enjoy some of my favorite Honeysuckle Hill engagement photos from their session below!
