Romantic outdoor engagement at the Pond at Laurel Cove | Bethany + Drew

I’m so excited to share Bethany & Drew’s engagement session we had at The Pond at Laurel Cove in Old Fort. This wedding venue is a hidden treasure located right at the foot of Old Fort mountain and is the home of Patrick & Lisa Ellis. The property is GORGEOUS with beautiful tall trees, pond and blooming flowers all around the property. You just feel like you’re home.

The forecast called for 20% chance of rain on the day of their engagements, but decided to pour right before we started their photo session. It cleared out just long enough for us to capture everything we needed right before it started back. I am so happy with how these turned out. Bethany looked so beautiful in her maroon dress. They make quite the couple!! I’m so excited for their wedding next year at Chestnut Ridge in Canton, one of my FAVORITE venues. It’s one of a kind with mountain top views and the most gorgeous white reception barn and chapel on the hill with beautiful wood pews. Here are a few of my favorites from their engagement session!!
