Shelley + Michael | Four M Acres Events | Leicester, NC

Love was in the air the minute we arrived at Four M Acres Events. It rained most of the day, but that didn’t put a damper on anything. We still had an amazing venue and awesome food. The owners, BJ & Melisa, are the BEST. They even surprised Shelley by lining the aisle with rose petals which we used for the couple when we did couple portraits.

There were two things that I distinctively remember on their wedding day. The first was when Shelley & Michael were getting ready to do their vows a big horn went off playing a tune not once, but at least six or seven times. The first time it was hilarious and then we were like, “Is this thing ever going to quit”? We later learned that this was the way the farmer called his horses back to the barn. The second thing I remember is Shelley’s grandfather walking her down the aisle. This was a special moment. Both sides of the family were so sweet and I loved being a part of their day. I would like to thank each one of the vendors who made their day the best ever!!
