Madelynn + Josh | Jeter Mountain Farm | Hendersonville Wedding Photographer

Get ready for blog post OVERLOAD.  Seriously guys, when you’ve been asked by your photographer/friend Melissa McElrath to photograph her soon to be sister-n-laws wedding, you over shoot and boy am I glad we did.  What an honor to be asked by another photographer to photograph this special event. So get ready for the LARGEST blog post EVER.

Madelynn & Josh were married at Jeter Mountain Farm June 26, 2017, in an outdoor ceremony overlooking the mountains.  What a gorgeous venue.  This was my first time shooting at this lovely place.  The indoor and outdoor space was ta die for.  What Madelynn didn’t know when I arrived was that Melissa had arranged for not only me to shoot, but Julia to shoot and do video of their wedding.  She surprised her with that as you’ll see in the photos below.  I feel so honored that this couple entrusted me to capture their day along with Melissa and Julia.

When I first arrived at the farm, I first noticed the beautiful outdoor space and how large the inside of the reception site was and very open. The ladies had plenty of room to have hair and make-up done on the upper level.  As soon as we were done photographing the detail shots, we got ready for the first look between Josh & Madelynn.  As you can see in the photos, Josh was clearly happy to see his beautiful bride. The dress Madelyn picked out was absolutely GORGEOUS and fit perfectly.  What I loved about their wedding was that they decided to include their first communion together during their wedding.  Their vows were filled with words of commitment to each other and to their heavenly father who brought their lives together.  When the ceremony ended we did family shots and then walked down the mountain to this gorgeous tree farm area and where we did couple shots of Madelynn and Josh.  This was my FAVORITE spot.  Next up was the reception where this family knows how to throw a party complete with a live DJ, photo booth and lots of yummy food.  For a day, I felt like part of their family. Everyone was so gracious and so easy to work with and that I am grateful for.

Thank you Madelynn & Josh for choosing me to document your wedding day!!  May the Lord bless you and keep you close in your new life as husband and wife and may he grant you all of life’s blessings and love’s joys.  xoxo
