Homewood Wedding Photographer – Samantha & Gregory say “I DO”

Samantha and Gregory were married at Homewood on October 19th in a ceremony surrounded by family and close friends.  I had the privilege of meeting the couple a year ago when I met them for their engagement session. I noticed right off how “in love” they were and the mutual respect they had for each other.  Samantha wanted a wedding in the fall and she carefully planned out all of the details for their wedding from the flowers to the fall decorations and even the wedding cake and groom’s cake which was a work of art.  Thank you for letting us share in your special day.  We wish you much happiness and a love that is everlasting.  Here is a short paragraph in Samantha’s words on how they met and how Gregory proposed….

“We met when I was 14 and he was 16 at a little corner sandwich shop in Canton after school. I remember being so nervous and barely talking. I still remember what he wore, a bright orange Carhartt t-shirt. He was so dreamy. He definitely gave my heart butterflies and still does. Well you know what happened next, we fell in love, that head over heels kind of love…and then four years later, still madly in love, he asked my grandparents and my mom for their blessing and proposed. He proposed on my grandparent’s anniversary, February 19, 2012. He got down on one knee at a little bed and breakfast in Waynesville in front of both of our families. I was so surprised, I had no clue. I thought that was the happiest day of my life, but I found out it was only one of the happiest days of my life because on October 19, 2014, I married my best friend, the love of my life, that man that I met at the little corner sandwich shop! My knight in camo armor This was the happiest day of my life, marrying the man of my dreams. I thank God for putting this amazing man in my life! I am so blessed to call him my HUSBAND!!”
